Joseph F. Fetto, MD, attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and received his medical degree in 1974. Then, he served his general surgery residency at the Metropolitan Hospital, now NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in NYC, NY. Furthermore, he conducted his sports medicine fellowship and orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. In addition, Dr. Fetto received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the American Medical Association, the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
