Get to know Orthopedist Dr. Joseph F. Fetto, who serves the population of New York

Dr. Joseph F. Fetto is an Orthopedist within his private practice and the Orthopaedics Division Chief of The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor Graduate School of Education Department of Physical Therapy, New York University, and the Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Joseph F. Fetto, MD, attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and received his medical degree in 1974. Then, he served his general surgery residency at the Metropolitan Hospital, now NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in NYC, NY. Furthermore, he conducted his sports medicine fellowship and orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. In addition, Dr. Fetto received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the American Medical Association, the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
